Most bowyers boast performance, speed, accuracy, etc., when describing their bow models. At Bob Lee, we like to base our information on hard facts and independent test results. And, we tend to be conservative in our claims.
BOB LEE GOES BALLISTIC!
Bob Lee Bows has the distinction of being THE FIRST BOW COMPANY to test equipment with a newly-unveiled techy tool for archery: THE VELOCITIP BALLISTIC SYSTEM.
A product of Full Flight Technology, VELOCITIP features a micro-electronic arrow field point. Flight data is collected, recorded and delivered via USB to a "docking station".
This exciting innovation provides -- for the first time -- to archery manufacturers a precise measurement system at the time of arrow launch AND the point of impact.
Tests were conducted on two occasions by a Velocitip representative -- at a Gander Mountain shooting range and at our facility in Jacksonville.
What we found surprised even us.
We've always felt confident about the kinetic energy and resulting speed produced by our bows. But the test results confirmed -- and in some ways, exceeded -- our expectations.
